Stone countertops are very durable products which, when properly maintained and cared for, can last a lifetime and then some. Natural stone, after all, was produced by mother nature over millions of years and literally is "a rock." However, accidents or lack of maintenance can require professional help to repair stains, chips or cracks, or to reset seams that main have shifted due to settling of cabinets or the house foundation. The most common maintenance item is annual resealing of natural stone countertops. Although you can purchase many of the commercially-available sealers that are on the market and do this yourself, we can also handle it for you for our normal $75 service call charge (within our normal service area near Wilmington, NC). We can also repair any chips that may have occured due to accidents, and reset seams in most case.

Since every installation is different, and since we often did not perform the initial fabrication or installation, please always call to describe your repair problem first. If necessary, we will schedule a visit to your location to visually inspect the problem and communicate options if a simple repair is not feasible.
